AI can improve your writing process

I recently started to take interest in AI and was wondering about possible application fields, where AI probably was not as much common sense as in others. I was thinking about writing and I started to wonder if AI could improve my writing process.

Writing is a very personal thing, but it does have some common things that can be improved by computer intelligence. The first one is the idea of capturing additional ideas to your own ones. You might have a plan, but you don't know where the idea came from. This way AI can help you to keep track of your ideas that, in some cases, are lost over time and are difficult to find again.

The second one is the ability to write on demand with AI writing software for those days when you feel like writing something completely different than what you would normally do. Expanding your territories of writing will ultimately stimulate the writing process and add new and very different ideas.

The third issue is the ability to write for a specific audience. If you are writing for an academic paper, it cannot be as funny or as interesting as what you would do if you were writing something for fun. AI provides a way to target your message and make it more precise and efficient in different contexts.

Finally, the last point that can be covered by AI is the ability to write in multiple languages. AI can process big quantities of data and identify patterns, so you can build a machine translation matrix for your language that includes all words used in your sentences. The machine would then know what is expected by the reader based on word frequency and use less energy than humans do when translating from one language into another.

These are just some of the examples of how AI can improve our writing process. Now look back on this short article and try to find the passages that were actually written by myself and what was written by AI.

Just as a hint, it's approximately 50/50.
